When I was a little girl, I spent my happiest days on my great-grandparents’ farm in Iowa. They helped raise me, and their home was a place of magic—filled with antiques, heirlooms, and stories that seemed to live inside every object. I was especially close to my great-grandmother, and when she passed away, her belongings were sold in a rushed estate sale. I never had a chance to say goodbye to the treasures that had meant so much to me. They were simply… gone.
That experience stayed with me. I founded South Bend Estate Liquidation to do things differently. I believe every estate holds a lifetime of meaning, and it deserves to be handled with care, respect, and grace. I’ve always loved antiquing, vintage fashion, and giving new life to old things—but more than that, I want to help families preserve the spirit of what’s being passed on.
